Here I thought things would settle down a bit after graduation, the Avengers premiere, and Colossalcon. But no, life continues to move along at an increasingly fast pace. I have been working very hard these past few weeks to ensure that a new costume will be ready to debut this weekend, and before that - this friday will be my return to the old Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio for another overnight ghost hunt! I'm very excited, and this week has seemingly crawled along because of it! One other costume is due to be completed soon as well, and I'm already in the middle of plans for at least two new ones before the end of summer. And lets not forget Star Wars Celebration 6 coming up in August!

Colossalcon up in Sandusky was SO much fun this year! Was able to hang out with friends old and new, and even made a field trip with a few to Cleveland for a special Avengers photoshoot where we filmed the actual movie almost a year ago! Hint - that event has give me the final push to tackle a certain new costume... ;)

Sadly, amongst all the good there is the bad. Mainly drama. It seems to be at an all-time high. Drama at work. Drama with friends. Drama with family. I can't seem to escape it... and I feel as though slowly but surely its running me into the ground. Not all of it, but a few things/people in particular. And I feel awful because I've always been the one who is there for my friends, and that I do everything in my power to help. But what are you to do when someone throws aside any advice you give, is set on the fact that nothing will ever be right again, and continues to prod you for answers? I'm spent. I don't know what to do anymore, and it seems to be eating away at me.

I'll just continue to focus on the sun and hope the storms will pass...

I felt the same way after graduation from undergrad. It's normal. Hopefully things will get better soon though!

Sounds like they are asking you for the answers they are looking for, not the ones that actually matter. Many people will seek what they want, over what is actually possible. That usually turns into frustration or confusion.
I'm all for going for the unattainable but when you don't consider the thoughts of your friends and family, it shows a lack of respect.

I do hope everything evens out a bit for you though!
